A short trip to Phoenice

Phoenice was an ancient city, capital of the Chaonians. It is located on your right hand when you travel from Gjirokaster to Saranda, or on your left when you travel from Vlore to Saranda via the sea side.
I was always fascinated with the look of this hill. You've got mountains on both sides and in the middle there lies this hill like the back of a fish. You can't see anything from the main road but there are plenty of signs showing the way to the archaeological park.

We're still on the Muzine's neck, looking around and taking pics. Sometimes I think why don't we leave the car and walk up to those fields? Why don't we sit under those trees and enjoy the sunset? If I ever win some sort of lottery, I know what I'm gonna do with my free time. I'm going to be the next Johnnie Walker.

Dervican

Dervican[/caption]
Dervican is the next village after Lazarat. The most famous Greek minority political organization was founded there, Omona.
I knew a couple of girls from Dervican when I used to live in Athens. They played it so hard to get that now that I think about it, I wonder if our patience had any limits. Nothing happened in the end. :P
