Tirana dressed up for holidays

The decorations this year feel different, you can really see they’ve put more effort than the previous guys. This year the Parks & Recreation Department is being heard, if they really existed until last year.

My son’s favorite toy this winter. Sometimes he wakes up in the middle of the night looking for it. Sometimes we can’t find it. Needles to say, no one sleeps after that…

Skyline

This place is called “The Aerodrome”. There is a long pedestrian street in front of the buildings, always packed with families enjoying the absence of traffic noise, a rarity in Tirana nowadays. The buildings are new, built in the last 10 years or so, but before there was an airfield for light planes. Now, the only thing remaining from that time it’s the Helicopter Service of the Civil Emergency.
